Welcome to a true arctic, culinary evening at Huset Restaurant.
This unique event will be presented during the Smak Svalbard festival.
The chefs from Restaurant Polfareren and Huset will work together to compose a seasonal menu based on locally sourced produce from Svalbards fjords and tundra. It will also feature several ingredients that were staple foods for the trappers in the old days, now cooked with innovative technique and ideas.
We work together with local trappers, but also have a growing interest in fishing, hunting, foraging, and growing ourselves. To complement the menu our sommeliers will make a wine pairing based on their favorite bottles from Husets renowned wine cellar.
