About

Gruvelageret is a unique place for conferences, both half and full day. It is the perfect place when you want a meeting room out of the ordinary, with alle fascilities but still in a historic surrounding that express Svalbard as a destination. We are happy to facilitate your day and to also serve you lunch or dinner from our exquisite kitchen with love for the Arctic cuisine. 

Gruvelageret is also available for happenings such as baptism, bachelor parties and weddings. With its candlelights and rustic interior, Gruvelageret is considered as a very romantic restaurant and is perfect for your special events. 

In its ordinary restaurant setup, Gruvelageret has a capacity of 70 persons in total across 11 tables.
These are set up for the following group sizes:
- Four table groups of 8 persons per group
- Five table groups of 6 persons per group
- Two table groups of 4 persons per group
