Isfjord Radio Restaurant is a true wilderness restaurant on Svalbard, situated 90 km from Longyearbyen.
Until a few years ago, the remote radio station was an important connection for telecommunications between mainland Norway and the settlement on Svalbard. Today, the station is now a boutique hotel with focus on quality and comfort. With its exotic location you will experience the silence and magnificence of the Svalbard nature!
Just as the original station crew did a couple of decades ago, everyone gather around the dining table at night. This is where a culinary journey begins and the arctic delicacies are amongst other smoked seals, whales, halibut with roe butter and reindeer sausage.

Much of what is served at Isfjord Radio is hunted by one of the last three hunters in Svalbard. The ingredients are prepared in Isfjord Radio's modern kitchen, to a standard that will satisfy even the most demanding palate.
