Wintertime in Svalbard is magical and is many people’s favourite season, residents and tourists alike. With randonee skis on your feet, you can go on a summit ski climb up Trollsteinen (850 m above sea level). You will be rewarded with a stunning panoramic view and you can catch your breath at the top while admiring the snowclad landscape. If you come early in the season, you can experience the beautiful blue moonlight and the magical Northern Lights. On the other hand, if you visit in sunny April, you will be captivated by the bright days and spectacular sunsets.
