The best way to reach Isfjord Radio during the summer season is to sail with the boat Isfjord-Ekspressen. This boat has daily round-trip departures from Longyearbyen to Isfjord Radio from June until mid-September. More information about Isfjord-Ekspressen can be found here.
During the winter season, the best way to reach Isfjord Radio is to drive there by snowmobile. Provided that conditions allow it, there are organised snowmobile trips departing regularly from Longyearbyen to Isfjord Radio during the winter season.
