Season (20 Apr 2025 - 28 Apr 2025) |

Experience the Arctic expedition lifestyle on a spectacular crossing of Spitsbergen from east to west. We’ll travel on skis, pulling our pulkas behind, through vast valleys, glaciers, and beautiful Arctic landscapes. The journey goes from Agardhbukta in the east to Grønfjorden in the west, with tent camps set up each night. Under the midnight sun, we take turns on polar bear watch and enjoy the Arctic silence – an unforgettable experience. After eight days on skis, we finally reach the west coast, where a boat awaits to bring us back to civilization.
Itinerary
Day 1:
The guide meets you in the afternoon for packing and any last questions. We recommend arriving in Longyearbyen the day before.
Day 2:
We travel to Agardhbukta by snowcat or snowmobile, prepare the gear, and start the tour with a short first leg.
Day 3–7:
We ski 15-25 km each day before setting up a new camp. We keep a slow and steady pace with good breaks along the way. Each evening, we set up camp together, and you will feel how the routines become a natural part of expedition life.
Day 8:
We reach Grønfjorden, set up camp one last time, and enjoy a last night in the Arctic wilderness.
Day 9:
The final leg brings us to Barentsburg, where a boat will take us back to Longyearbyen and the hotel for a well-deserved shower.
