Gear you should have: Backpack with spare clothes. Ski equipment, avalanche equipment, good clothing. Se the equipment list:
Backpack (30-40L)
Skis, ski boots, poles and skins (can be rented)
Down jacket
Shell jacket and pants
Warm layers (merino wool, fleece, wool sweater)
Hat, buff, mittens and gloves
