On tour in the midnight sun
Join us for the night version of our Longyearbyen panorama tour: When the snowcat arrives, there won't be any doubt about wheter this is your tour. The guide will welcome you on board, and after a quick briefing you will be ready to head off the beaten track. We will follow the road a little way into the Advent Valley before turning onto the snow, and crossing the wide valley to the mountains on the far side. Here we will find the towering Hiorthfjell, and we will make our way up to the breathtaking viewpoint at "Linken", where we will take a break and enjoy the amazing views towards Longyearbyen while the guide serves warm drinks.
Learn about Svalbard history
During the tour you can learn about coal mining on Svalbard, the hardy Arctic Hunters, Polar geology and more. This is a great mini expedition for those who wish to head out of town in a a safe and comfortable manner. The real Arctic is not far from your door!
Guests must be warmly dressed, with good winter shoes. Due to weather conditions the route may change. The vehicle is fitted for one wheel chair in the snowcat. This must be confirmed at time of booking to ensure ramp is in place.
From 18th April the tour will also run in the evening: - Longyearbyen Panorama - under the midnight sun.

Language
Safety is our highest priority, and the guide needs to be able to give directions you understand. To participate on one of our excursions, it is required that you speak and understand English or one of the Scandinavian languages.
