Dogsledding with an overnight stay in a hut by the dog yard. The silence will reign all night, apart from the possible interruptions of amazing concerts from our dogs. On this trip we will use dog wagons until the snow arrives.

Welcome to an unforgettable experience!

This overnight stay will give you a unique experience of living in the Arctic. We will pick you up at 12:00 and drive you to Svalbard Villmarkssenter and our dog yard. Your guide will give you all instructions about dogsledding. You will learn how to handle the polar dogs, drive the sledge and how to be a good musher. You will then help to prepare the dogs, and on the trip the guide will drive in front and each participant will follow behind. The team will head out for an exciting trip in the wild Arctic nature. You will get to know each of the dogs' personality and see them super happy throughout the day. Once we are back, we will all help with unharnessing the dogs and feed them.

We will then enjoy dinner around the open fire and have a good chat before we are ready to say goodnight.

After breakfast the next morning we’ll bring you back to your accommodation in Longyearbyen.

Overnight small cabin for beside the dogyard (1 night)

Dogsledding. Wagon until the snow arrives

Warm winter dress, shoes, hat and gloves. If it is dark you will get your own headlight.

We recommend you to use extra, good and warm wool clothing.

Sleeping bag, warm drink, dinner and breakfast next morning. If you have any allergies, please, give us message.
