A private guide is perfect for photographers, families, couples, small groups and people who want a tailor-made programme in and around Longyearbyen. Included in the price is an experienced and local guide (who speaks Norwegian, English, German and Swiss German) with a car for a total of 8 hours (please contact us if you wish to book the guide for more than one day).
Longyearbyen and the surrounding area offer varied landscapes with geological highlights, lots of history, research stations, world-famous buildings and infrastructure such as the Svalbard Global Seed Vault, and you also have the opportunity to observe much of Svalbard's wildlife.
Coffee & tea, Tody (syrup) and biscuits are included in the tour.

- There are no special discounts for children on this tour.
- We are happy to assist wheelchair users or persons with other disabilities, but the bus has no special adaptations. A folding wheelchair can be carried in the boot.
What to visit:
The settlement of Longyearbyen, the global seed vault, university, church, cemetery, huset, hospital, local council building, power plant, the governor's mansion, the governor's office, dog kennels (seen from the outside), EISCAT radars & Kjell Henriksen observatory (in good visibility), Coalmines number 1-7, Operafjellet, Hotellneset, the airport, Vestpynten and much more.
Only in summer:
Hiking in Longyearbreen's moraine combined with fossil hunting, or hikes to Longyearbreen, Sarkofagen, Trollsteinen, Platåfjellet, Sukkertoppen, Endalen, Bjørndalen, Blomsterdalshøgda, Lindholmhøgda, Bolternosa, Breinosa and Foxfonna.
Pick-up:
You will be picked up at your accommodation and driven back at the end of the tour.
