The exhibition "Layers of Time - Everyday Life in Svalbard" explores the essence of Svalbard through art and questions how photographs are relevant today and how memories and experiences are passed down from generation to generation. Artists provide us with new perspectives on Svalbard, including from a female perspective, challenging the commonly held notion of Spitsbergen as male, heroic, uninhabited, and inhospitable
