The rooms of Huset Bistro are filled with the atmosphere of Svalbard’s history, while the menu offers modernized Nordic meals with focus on locally sourced ingredients.
With a menu that contains traditional Norwegian cooking, it is not uncommon for Longyearbyen’s residents to eat their dinners here on weekdays. Plus the nostalgic bar on the second floor has a lounge area where both locals and tourists alike often spend their Friday nights.
Huset Bistro offers an a la carte menu. On Saturdays we serve our "Lørdagsbiff", Saturday beef, a tradition they have kept on to for decades.
