Join us on Trollsteinen Randonnèe. We start hiking through a fascinating landscape, before crossing the glacier on our way up the mountain ridge. A large and characteristic stone is located at the highest point, 850 meters above sea level. After we have enjoyed the scenic view from Trollsteinen, it`s time for our warm expedition lunch, before we put on our skis and head towards Longyearbyen. We can experience all kinds of conditions from nice powder snow to hard and icy conditions.
We strongly recommend your own ski equipment. Ski equipment rental is available in Longyearbyen, however we like to avoid time spent on rental and adjustment of the skis after the group is assembled
Probe, shovel and beacon can be rented from us for NOK 500.- per set.
Price includes: Transportation to/from accommodation, snowshoes, headlamps, hot lunch, hot drinks, biscuits and guide with necessary safety equipment.
