An adventure for those with snowmobile experience who want to explore Svalbard at its most extreme. The route toward Fridtjovhamna and Van Mijenfjorden takes you through shifting landscapes, challenging terrain, and offers a true sense of Arctic exploration.
The guide will always plan the route based on the day’s weather and conditions, which is essential here in Svalbard. The goal of the day is the viewpoint at Fridtjovhamna, where you can enjoy panoramic views of snow-covered plains, steep mountains, and the impressive ice front of Fridtjovbreen.
This activity is ideal if you already have snowmobile experience or have completed 1–2 snowmobile trips on Svalbard earlier during your stay.
Route changes may occur.
If conditions do not allow us to continue into Berzeliusdalen and onward to Fridtjovhamna, the guide will choose an alternative route in the nearby area along Van Mijenfjorden. If conditions make the entire planned area unsafe, we will offer to change the experience to the East Coast Snowmobile Safari before departure.
