Let's create some unbeatable Arctic memories! This is a unique chance to explore the Arctic, where we combine wildlife, glaciers, landings and history.
Join us in our warm, closed and fast RIB boat towards the northernmost Isfjord glacier Sefströmbreen. Our comfortable 12 passenger boat, including toilet, brings us high North into the magical area of Ekmanfjord, where we will find the stunning island of Coraholmen, with her red colored stones (makes you feel like you are on Mars) and lots of drift ice.
After about 1.5 hrs by boat, crossing the massive Isfjorden, we will reach our first majestic glacier of today, the Wahlenberg glacier. Spending our time in front of this glacier gives us the time to be amazed by the impressive glacier wall and scout the area for possible wildlife such as whales, belugas, birds, walruses, seals and maybe even a Polar bear!
We will continue our way up North into Ekmanfjord towards our first landing spot. Whilst leaving our boat for anchor we can hike up to the waterfall, explore historical area's and be amazed by stunning views. Along our way we will stop for some warm drinks and sweets.
After everyone embarked back on the boat we will continue our travels deeper into the fjord towards our second glacier of the day Sefströmbreen, where we depending on the sea ice conditions, can get close to the glacier wall. Don't forget to look outside when passing by the extraordinary island of Coraholmen, which is unique in its kind, with her red colors. We will enjoy our expedition lunch and drinks in front of the glacier, before we set off to our next stop. The Haaaaaaaunted House! Brrrrr.... It will take us about 1hr by boat to get close to the high cliffs, where we will be able to walk up to get in front of Svenskhuset, also known as the Haunted House. Your guide will tell you all about this interesting and historical tragedy that took place on this spot. This full day of scouting for wildlife, historical places and stunning glaciers creates the best Arctic memories!
