Join us on an adventure along Spitsbergen’s spectacular west coast aboard MS Serenissima. You will have the opportunity to visit impressive fjords, observe Arctic wildlife, and go ashore using Zodiac boats to explore the rugged and magnificent Arctic landscape up close. Led by experienced local guides with extensive knowledge of Svalbard, you will experience this Arctic paradise in an unforgettable way.

You can choose between two different 6-day packages – either Wednesday to Monday or Sunday to Friday:

Wednesday to Monday: 4 nights aboard MS Serenissima, plus a stay in Longyearbyen before the cruise.

Sunday to Friday: 3 nights aboard MS Serenissima, with stays in Longyearbyen both before and after the cruise.

Sailing towards the top of the world, crossing the 80th parallel, and exploring the breathtaking Arctic wilderness.

Enjoying the atmosphere aboard MS Serenissima – a timeless ship offering a classic and authentic experience.

As we sail past spectacular fjords, glaciers, and jagged mountain peaks, keep an eye out for reindeer, polar bears, walruses, whales, and a rich variety of Arctic birdlife. You’ll also learn about Arctic history and exploration with a chance to go ashore in Ny-Ålesund, a former mining town and one of the world’s northernmost settlements.

Please note that nature rules in the Arctic, and weather and ice conditions may lead to adjustments in the itinerary and programme.

What’s included?
Accommodation and transport: One night’s accommodation in Longyearbyen before the cruise (plus one night after the cruise for the Sunday to Friday package), including transport to and from the airport, hotel, and ship.

Food and drink: Full board as per the programme (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) with complimentary tea and coffee.
Activities: A three-hour sightseeing tour in Longyearbyen, including entry to the Svalbard Museum and a visit to Camp Barentz. Guided shore landings with Zodiac boats during the cruise, lectures on board, and informal gatherings.
Expedition team: Local expert guides fluent in English, German, Norwegian, and French, ensuring an informative and enjoyable tour.
Equipment: Available loan equipment such as walking sticks and boots for shore landings. Thermal suits are also available to keep you warm while on deck.
