Guided tours
Our local guide grew up in Longyearbyen and will take you on a guided tour in Longyearbyen and the surrounding areas. This way you get a quick overview of all the possibilities in town before you start exploring on your own. Hear the story of the old mining town from the mid 60’s, historical events and how life was here in Longyearbyen and in the Arctic wilderness. There will be several stops for photography along the way. We offer two daily trips departing at 09:00 and 15:00, and we’re flexible on time upon request. We end our tours with lunsj or dinner for those if you wish so, and our guide will gladly join if requested. Choice of menu and drinks are at the guests' own expense.
Northern lights tours
The northern lights season in Svalbard begins in October, and from November we officially enter into the Polar Night. It will be dark around the clock, and if you’re lucky you may get the opportunity to see the northern lights during the day! We will pick you up at your hotel and take the minibus to a location with the best potential to hopefully see Aurora Borealis.
