Welcome to Longyearbyen – we're excited to share our Arctic home with you!
If this is your first time on Svalbard, there's no better way to experience it than by stepping into nature with a local guide. From the moment we leave the cruise terminal, we'll take you on a scenic drive along the coastline, where we'll keep our eyes on the fjords in the hope of spotting beluga whales or walruses resting along the shore.
Our journey then continues into the beautiful Bjørndalen Valley for a short and easy walk through one of Longyearbyen's most beautiful natural areas. This peaceful valley is home to Svalbard reindeers, Arctic foxes, and a rich variety of Arctic birdlife. Every tour is different, and that's part of the magic. Nature decides what it wants to share with us each day.
As we walk, you'll be surrounded by colourful Arctic vegetation, rugged mountains, and beautiful views across the fjord to the glaciers beyond. Along the way, we'll share stories about the wildlife, history, and everyday life up in the High Arctic, giving you a deeper connection to this extraordinary place.
Whether you're hoping to spot wildlife, enjoy spectacular scenery, or simply experience the unique atmosphere of Svalbard, we'd love to welcome you on this unforgettable introduction to the Arctic.
Designed especially for our cruise guests, this tour is perfectly timed to fit your ship's arrival and departure schedule. We'll meet you right at the cruise terminal and bring you back with plenty of time before your ship departs, so you can simply relax and enjoy your time on Svalbard!

Warm drinks and sweets are included.
