Have you ever dreamed of standing in the Arctic wilderness while the green curtains of aurora borealis dance across a star-filled polar sky?

We escape the town lights of Longyearbyen for an intimate Northern Lights hunt by car, where nature’s conditions and your personal experience are our top priorities.

We will never be able to guarantee northern lights, but our route is flexible and designed for those who want to feel the silence of the polar night and get the absolute best chances for spotting the northern lights.
The tour will be led by our Arctic guide who will try to find the clearest skies while sharing local stories and showing you places and sharing knowledge. When the green glow shows up over the snowcovered peaks, time stands completely still. It is a breathtaking sight.

Frequently asked questions
When is the best time to spot northern lights on Svalbard?
The best time to see northern lights on Svalbard is from November to February because we have darkness all day due to the polar night. The polar nights create the perfect darkness for aurora borealis watching - day and night.

Language
You need to be able to speak and communicate in English due to safety reasons.

Accessibility
This tour is for most guests, as we will be driving around to different spots to find the clearest skies. You need to be able to get in and out of a car/van yourself.
