About

Day 1 – Expedition Prep in Longyearbyen
Meet in Longyearbyen at 14:00 for checking the gear, packing your kayak, and a full safety briefing, including polar bear safety. Enjoy a relaxed evening before the adventure begins.

Day 2 – Skansebukta to Billefjorden
Boat transfer to Skansebukta. Begin paddling north into Billefjorden along colourful cliffs and layered mountains. Set up camp under the midnight sun.

Day 3 – Pyramiden & Petuniabukta
Paddle past the haunting Soviet ghost town of Pyramiden. Continue towards Nordenskiöldbreen glacier and camp in the dramatic surroundings of Petuniabukta.

Day 4 – Glacier & Arctic Wildlife
Approach the towering ice wall of Nordenskiöldbreen. Paddle amongst the ice and watch for seals and seabirds. Camp near Brucebyen and enjoy your last polar bear watch.

Day 5 – Final Paddle & Return
