Our Story: A Love Affair with the Arctic

My Arctic is a family owned business. The company was born out of a deep-seated passion for the North. Our founder and owner, Kate, first discovered the magic of these islands when she sailed to Svalbard back in 2014. Captivated by the dancing polar lights and the vast, silent wilderness, she decided to make the Arctic her home and her life’s work. Today, Kate is a certified Svalbard Guide Opplæringen (SGO) tour guide, bringing years of expertise and a heartfelt respect for the polar environment to every trip we lead.

Safety is the foundation of everything we do. We combine Kate’s professional SGO certification with meticulous planning to ensure that your only worry is whether you’ve taken enough photos. We know that the best memories are made when you feel at home, which is why we are proud to offer our guiding services in English, Polish, German, Spanish, and Russian - on our tailor made experience tours.
