Kväänibiennaali 2025 – "Työ / Work"

About

The group exhibition "Työ / Work" brings together works by several artists with Kven affiliations in a new geographical and cultural context: Markus Lantto, Ingebjørg Vatne, Inger Emilie Solheim, Solveig Ovanger, Kåre Kivijärvi, Rina Charlott Lindgren and Eili Bråstad.

"Työ / Work" is developed by Kväänitaitajat – the Kven Artists' Association, in collaboration with the North Norwegian Art Museum, and marks the third edition of Kväänibiennaali. Since 2021, the biennial has served as a key platform for the exploration of contemporary Kven art.
