Join us on a true mountain hike up to the summit of Trollsteinen for a 360 view!

During this challenging but beautiful hike, you will discover why this mountain peak is called Trollsteinen.
Enjoy beautiful landscapes and amazing 360 degree views whilst being 850 meters above sea level!

We will pick you up at your accommodation to drive to the end of town where we will start our hike from. From the moment we start we will slowly make our way up the mountain. Passing by steep mountains and crossing the moraine and glacier landscape on the way. Our goal is the summit of the mountain at 850 meter above sea level, where there is a rock tower called Trollsteinen. On our way, we will find a nice spot to eat our warm expedition lunch and enjoy our warm drinks, listen to stories from our guide and take in the fresh air. We will make sure that there will be enough time to capture the beautiful landscape, to enjoy the Arctic silence and to take enough photos of this magical place.

This tour will take approximately 7 hrs and is about 9-11km with 750m elevation.

What we recommend you to bring:
Please make sure to dress properly for Arctic weather conditions. 

Our recommendations for this hike would be to wear: Sturdy waterproof hiking boots/shoes (above the ankle), (soft shell) hiking pants, shell jacket (wind and waterproof), base layers, warm hiking socks, insulating mid-layer, warm hat (like a beanie), warm mittens/ gloves and a filled water bottle. If you can, choose woolen materials closest to your body.

We want you to bring a backpack as you need to take some gear with you, which you will get from us. 

We will provide you with snowshoes or microspikes (depending on the conditions).

Important to know:
If we need to adjust our planned route due to safety reasons, we hold the right to do so.

There is no reimbursement if we need to. 

We reserve the right to refuse you to join our activity, without any refund, if you do not arrive on time, are not properly prepared in terms of clothing or in any way not capable of joining our trip. Your safety is our main concern.

Make sure you are in normal physical shape, as this hike can be experienced as moderate demanding (all depending on conditions and weather). We need to walk upwards.

Pickup: at your accommodation around the time stated on your confirmation. Please just wait if we are not there on time. 
We pick up everyone at the same time, so we could be some minutes later.

Cancellations:
If you need to adjust your booking, let us know. If available, we gladly guide you on another day of your preference, only if we have availability and possibility to do so and only 3 days before or after the original date. However, if you need to cancel, please notify us in writing.

Cancellation reimbursement:
- 22 days or more prior to departure: 95%
- 21-8 days prior to departure: 50%
- 7 or less days prior to departure: 0%.

Refunds:
We are not able to offer a refund due to route changes, sickness, cancelled or delayed flights or any other circumstance outside our control. 

Age limits:
This experience is not suitable for children under the age of 10 years. All under 18 years old need to be accompanied by an adult.
