Our adventure begins with a scenic hike to the glacier, taking approximately one and a half hours through mountain landscapes and across glacial terrain. Once we reach the climbing site, your guide will provide a comprehensive safety briefing and equip you with all the necessary gear, including a helmet, harness, crampons, and ice axes.
After gearing up, we’ll descend into a natural meltwater channel—a vertical shaft carved deep into the glacier by flowing water. Surrounded by shimmering blue ice walls, you’ll learn the fundamentals of the ice climbing techniques before making your ascent back to the surface.
No previous climbing experience is required. This adventure is designed for beginners and first-time climbers, with professional guides providing instruction, encouragement, and support every step of the way.

What is included:
Transfers from and to your hotel, hot drinks and snacks, warm lunch, certified local guide with polar bear protection, safety equipment, crampons, harness, helmet, walking poles, head lamps and Search & Rescue insurance.
What to bring:
Warm boots (If possible stiff-that provides better stability on the ice wall), wool base layer, windproof jacket, outdoor pants, hat, buff, windproof mittens\gloves, backpack and water bottle. We do recommend to bring extra layer clothing with you, such as puffy jacket or warm sweater

The route can be adjusted due to the weather conditions and presence of wildlife.
Your pick-up time depends on your hotel’s location, so please allow for a slight variation in the scheduled time.
We are not able to offer a refund due to sickness, cancelled or delayed flights or any other circumstances out of our control, therefore we recommend you to have valid travel insurance.
