Arctic Workshop

Arctic Workshop started up in 2019, as an alternative to the many outdoor activities on Svalbard.

Here you are not depended of the weather outside, and everyone is welcome, big or small.

Arctic Workshop is owned, and managed by Lene.
She is originally from Bergen, but has lived in Svalbard since 2016.
Lene is an educated archaeologist, but in 2010, the passion for communicating history made her become a guide. She has worked as a guide in countries such as Spain, Greece, Turkey, and Thailand, before moving here to Svalbard.
In addition to Arctic Workshop, Lene still guides for Svalbard Adventures, which she has done since she moved here in 2016.

Arctic Workshop, is a workshop where the whole family can gather, and we have crafts for all ages. This is equally exciting for families, and couples, as seniors, and those traveling alone. It's social, and you get to try crafts you wouldnt normally come across.

When you have been around the island, by boat to Barentsburg, snowmobile to the East coast, and ATV in Adventdalen; Take a break and spend the day in our great town. A trip to the museum, a good lunch at one of the many great restaurants, and finish off with a trip to Arctic Workshop, to create some great crafts, which you can take home as memories of the island at 78 degrees North.

Welcome!
